The PA is the Parents’ Association of Totternhoe CE Academy. Every parent is a member of the Parents Association and then we have an elected committee. We are a fun and lively group of parents who organise school events that raise funds for the development of the school and its facilities, which directly benefit the children. We are an integral part of the school, responsible for the majority of Totternhoe’s social calendar!
Over the last year we have had many successful and well attended events, including our Christmas and Summer Fairs, Pumpkin and Moving Up Disco, Pamper Night, Gift Stalls and Film Nights. Funds raised from these events have helped fund the biennial trip to the Pantomime as well as equipment for the school and playground.
We have regular meetings to discuss ideas and ways in which we can support the school. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions, so please don’t hesitate to drop us a line via email. Or why not join the PA Committee yourself?

Children benefit - children benefit when parents are engaged both at home and school.
Schools benefit - the PA aims to create a positive atmosphere in the school, as well as raising lots of funds that go directly to the school.
Its good for you! You can directly contribute to your child’s school and have good fun whilst doing so! It’s a great way to meet new friends and get to know other people within the school.
