Kidz Zone Club Information
 
"Kidz Zone“ is open to all children in Reception to Year 6 attending Totternhoe CE Academy. At ‘Kidz Zone’ we provide a fun, active, safe environment for children, under the care of qualified staff.
 

Active Hour

During “Active Hour” an activities leader will deliver a different activity each day followed by our ‘positive play’ to wind down with. Children will have the chance to earn the “Club Star” award at each club, rewarded for following our FUN agreement of having fun, keeping safe, playing fairly and showing respect. The ‘Active Hour’ is open to all children at the school not just children who need to attend for childcare purposes; it’s a great opportunity for children to socialise, have fun and learn new skills with friends!
 
After Active Hour

After 'Active Hour' children enjoy a wide range of activities focused around the weekly theme of the club which are led by our staff, including Construction, Arts & Crafts, Quizzes, Board Games, Creative Tasks, Team building, Fun Competition and more. Children will be encouraged to do their homework/reading after a snack, with our staff also guiding children with this.

Food and Snacks
Children staying for the 'Active Hour’ will receive a drink and biscuit / fruit and veg. Children staying for the second part of the club will receive a cold snack (sandwich/wrap with filling).

• 30 spaces for breakfast and after school club each day - awarded on a first come first serve basis.
• If our club is closed for any reason you will receive a 100% refund to your account credit with Kidz Zone Club.

Cancellation / Booking Changes Policy:

Applicable to all Kidz Zone before and after school club booking cancellations or changes.

• 48 hours or more notice of the booking date is required for a cancellation or booking change – a 100% refund will be issued via the original payment method; please note childcare voucher payments can only be refunded to account credit due to HMRC rules. • Less than 48 hours notice – no refund.

Drop off & Collection Policy

• Breakfast club – we kindly request that all children arrive at breakfast club no later then 8.15am – this is to allow a clear passage of time before the rest of the school children arrive for their day.
• After school club – we kindly request that parents collect at the end of the session time you have booked – 4.30pm or 5.30pm – this is to allow our staff to have time to make sure the children have washed their hands before leaving and have collected their belongings. It helps prevent too much ‘toing and froing’ during club time with our staff bringing children back and forth.
