Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education

At Totternhoe CE Academy we follow the Jigsaw PSHE scheme of work. 

Jigsaw is a whole-school approach that is unique, spiral, progressive and effective. We prepare the children for life, helping them really know and value who they are and understand how they relate to other people in this ever-changing world.

Relationships and Sex Education  (RSE)

To embrace the challenges of creating a happy and successful adult life, pupils need knowledge that will enable them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and relationships. Pupils can put this knowledge into practice as they develop the capacity to make sound decisions when facing risks, challenges and complex contexts.  At Totternhoe CE Academy Relationship and Sex Education is taught through our Jigsaw scheme of work.
