Remote Learning in Pods
ClassDojo is an online learning platform where we have set up your classroom community ready for remote (everyone apart from critical workers children and vulnerable children) learning from home, blended learning (School fully open but your child needs to isolate), as well as for homework.
It is an excellent way to stay in touch with staff and to see pupil learning. Classes can be shared with other teachers in the school and school leaders so that learning can be shared.
Blended & Remote Learning: during self-isolation
In the event that your child has to remain at home, during periods of self-isolation (Blended learning ) , or in the event of a local or more widespread lockdown (remote learning) , we will continue to provide home learning for your child. This will normally be from the Oak Academy online lessons, and will link as closely as possible to learning taking place within your child's class. These lessons will be posted on ClassDojo, on a class Blended Learning Class Story.

Class Story is where we will share collective worship and whole school learning and events. for ALL families from Blossom class to Hazel.
This private feed is viewable by the parents and pupils, through both parent and pupil accounts.

- Post challenges and learning updates
- Share links to learning sites to keep pupils practicing their skills and learning new skills and knowledge

- Share photos of the wider curriculum or similar to engage learners
Portfolios
Portfolios is a digital portfolio that allows pupils to share with their teachers and family! Pupils can add to their portfolio using Chromebooks, laptops, and iOS/Android devices, even from home. Teachers can view and approve children's work on Portfolios using any device. Once approved, only parent accounts connected to their child can see those particular posts and both parents and teachers can leave positive feedback in the form of a like and/or comments.

All parents will be invited to register for Class Dojo. A link will be sent to your contact email address. By accepting the link and registering with Class Dojo you are consenting to your child's information being shared between you and the school on this platform.
