Healthy Selfies

Children at Totternhoe take ‘healthy selfies’ throughout the year - photos of them taking part in an active activity, club or adventure outside of school, to show how they keep active.   Have a look at our PESS page to see the photos!

KS2 Musical Theatre Workshop  - November 2020

I am Harrison, the Sports Ambassador and all the Key Stage 2 children enjoyed the musical theatre workshop. Not all of the class were confident to join in but they persevered and they joined in and loved it. The best bits were learning new dances and it was fun and got us all active because during Covid some children have not been active so it was good to do it. We worked in teams and we communicated with each other and if you use teamwork, it will help you dance and perform better. I would like to do this again because it was good and we learnt new things.

KS1 & KS2 Run4Fun  - October 2020

Due to the current pandemic, the Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership will not be operating any inter school face to face competitions for the moment, but never fear, we will do them virtually over the Autumn term. One key benefit is that EVERY child in Years 1-6 will be able to participate. Our first event was the Run 4 Fun. Each child in KS1 ran 500m and in KS2 ran 1000m. We were so glad that we had a new track installed! All of the children tried very hard and persevered until the end. It was wonderful to see everyone supporting each other too. Here are our fastest times:

2020-2021 Sports Ambassador

Congratulations to Harrison, who has taken on the role of Sports Ambassador this year! Harrison will play a vital role in promoting PE and School Sport at Totternhoe, helping to run and organise inter-house competitions, leading by example, especially in PE lessons and at break and lunchtimes and attending school council meetings. We think he's going to be fantastic!
