Musical opportunities during Lockdown
Totternhoe CE Academy pupils were encouraged to join with pupils and families from across the country and take part in the Virtual Big Sing 2020!
This was a free, high-quality singing opportunity organised by Norfolk Music Hub and took place on
Friday 19th June at 2pm.
The event was organised in partnership with Charanga, NYMAZ, Mark De-Lisser and some extremely exciting and very well-known artists from across the world. Together, they c reated a comprehensive set of resources that supported all children and young people to take part in a highly personalised musical experience that they would never forget!
'Music has been such an incredibly powerful tool to support well-being at home during school closures and the Virtual Big Sing 2020 will be a fantastic way for young people to engage and become inspired by singing and music.'
Our keyworker pods took part in the event in school, and many of our families registered and took part at home. There was great fun and enjoyment had by all in learning and performing the songs! Definitely an uplifting experience
