Oak - Mrs Harvey & Miss Murray
![]() Sunny days are coming! Welcome to Summer Term! We are so delighted to welcome you all back and we are excited to re-introduce our geography based theme of Misty Mountain, Winding River. We will be looking at the different types of mountains as well as developing a secure understanding across a glossary of geographical terms. We will also be securing an understanding of the features and uses of rivers. Summer term will be full of fun-based learning so get ready for an exciting ride! Our aim for Oak class, as ever, is that the children will be continuing to learn in a fun and exciting way, as well as growing as independent learners. Our entertaining class reader will be 'The Diary of a Killer Cat', which we cannot wait to share with you. If you have not seen already, don't forget to check out Oak's Class Dojo page for pictures and videos of the last three weeks of Spring term . The children enjoyed lots of art-based activities and were able to showcase their creative talents. Our Class Dojo page will continue to be a central hub for our learning activity so keep your eyes peeled for that 'fly-on-the-wall' peek into your child's day...
