Remembrance Day

Picture
We marked Remembrance Day today in school with 2 minutes silence on the playground.  As always we were extremely impressed with the behaviour of the children, even our little Cherry class didn't make a peep.

Faith Walk 4.10.16
Sycamore and Oak   completed a  faith walk in Bedford, learning all about what makes us different and similar. It is so important that our children learn about different cultures and faiths.  They all had a brilliant time  and have come back with so many ideas that we will be using in our RE classes but also in Literacy and Art.

S
ports day  2016

A superb day led by Mrs Harrison (PESS coordinator)and her team of Young Leaders (Y4). The day started with Blossom class followed by the rest of the school.
All the children  were  great sports and cheered each other on. The parents races were a huge success although we have promised a teacher race (of some sort) next year!

November News
Dear  all,
School Pupil Tracker is now up to date with your child's achievements and progress.  If you have any concerns or questions, class teachers are more than happy to sit down with you and go over the  report.
The Emerging, Developing and Secure takes a little getting used to. Remember if your child has a hashtag of 3 or 4 they are working at a greater depth  of learning for their ARE (Age Related Expectation). They also have until the END OF TERM  to achieve  Emerging.
We are all over the moon to announce that Mrs Mitchelmore and Miss Murray were awarded 'Teacher of the Year' and 'Apprentice of the Year' last night  at the  Networking @ Dunstable and Houghton Regis Business and Community Awards.
Blossom class and Sycamore parents  the admissions round is open NOW. Please click here to be taken to the CBC link page.

Living God's Love Prayer
Living God, draw us deeper into your love;
Jesus our Lord, send us to care and serve;
Holy Spirit, make us heralds of good news.
Stir us, strengthen us, teach and inspire us
to live your love with generosity and joy,
imagination and courage; for the sake of your world
and in the name of Jesus, Amen.
